ASU HEALab Health Innovation Exhibition
Five teams, representing the five categories in the Patient Safety Technology Challenge, each won a $1,000 cash prize for their tech-enabled solutions. Meducate VR also won the Grand Prize, securing an additional $1,000 cash prize.

Team Health in Your Hands won the $5,000 cash prize sponsored by the Patient Safety Technology Challenge at this year’s Skunkworks: Hacking Chronic Disease competition.

Hack-a-Startup
Relayd won the Patient Safety Technology Challenge sponsored cash prize of $1,000 at CMU’s Hack-a-Startup, which spanned from November 2-16.

HackPrinceton
ReCall.ai was awarded the Patient Safety Technology Challenge sponsored prize at HackPrinceton on November 8-10.

BostonHacks
BostonHacks, the largest, annual student-run hackathon at Boston University, took place on November 2-3, 2024. DoseMate took home the Patient Safety Technology Challenge prize worth $500.

Nucleate PGH Bio-Hack
Nucleate PGH Bio-Hack, the Pittsburgh region’s premier biotechnology and life sciences competition, was held at Bakery Square’s “AI Avenue” on October 25-27.



HackHarvard
The ninth iteration of HackHarvard drew over 500 students from 133 universities and 27 countries.

Big Ideas: A Data-Driven Innovation Competition
The Patient Safety Technology Challenge partnered with Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis to provide a Patient Safety Technology Challenge award at its Big Ideas competition.

Bench to Bedside (B2B)
The Patient Safety Technology Challenge partnered with Bench to Bedside, hosted by the University of Utah’s Center for Medical Innovation, for the second year in a row.

Purdue University Design & Innovation Competition
Purdue University’s Design and Innovation Competition finale was held April 26 with three teams of finalists receiving awards for their innovations.
